Uncle Dave, Aunt Breeze, Mark Z and Barbie arrived to a warm welcome.

They soon volunteered for feeding, with Mark and Barb feeding the lambs.

Afterwards, Dave proved he can still handle a maul, and gave wood chopping advice.

Meanwhile the ladies conversed in the kitchen. Do to the size of dinner, we opted for the woodstove.

Dinner was all local; our own pork chops, sausages from the neighbors and asparagus from a neighbor. The sauerkraut was not local, but the wine was from a winery 20 minutes away. the beer, 30 minutes away. Desert was a homemade rhubarb pie, including homemade crusts!

The morning brought a French toast breakfast. Our syrup, produced this year met with good remarks. Afterwards there was a walk through our woods, by Paul, Mark and Dave. Dave was encouraged by all our maples.

Then it was off to see the falls.

After returning home we said good byes and sent the RV westward ho.

We attended the Ithaca Festival with our friend Emmy who lives there. The parade was led by Buddhist monks and trailed by a chainsaw welding band of marchers.
