July

Our gardens are overflowing with produce!

One of our hens sat on her eggs which soon hatched. 11 chicks, 9 survived.

Hugh and Ellen, Paul's parents, paid a visit. They were fed quite well.

Later during their stay we went out to a local farm for blueberry picking.

Paul's brother Mat was next to visit.

The turkeys were glad to play soccer. But their defense was not very good.

Joe brought wild salmon with him. The first evening we lounged around.

The next day we took Milt for a horse wagon ride over to the Piggery. A farm owned by some friends who produce all sorts of pork products.

Later in the day we gave a tour of Tremen State Park.

For supper we barbecued home raised chicken.
